1674 1/2 4 1/2 inch Traditional handle skinning/fillet knife-Carbon Steel
Some people skin small game with it, some people fillet small panfish with it and smoe call it the beaver skinner. The Dexter 1674½ Traditional™ Skinning/Fillet knife is a true classic. This beech wood handle knife features a high carbon steel blade that holds an edge and is easy to re-sharpen. This knife is also used as a fillet knife for small pan fish. Made in U.S.A.
Care: Because these have a wood handle and high carbon steel, they should be hand washed and dried. The blade will get a black patina with use. Avoid rust by adding a coat of vegetable oil. Ask the old timers, they swear by them.
Warranty Information"Dexter products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product." We do however reserve the right to inspect the product for misuse.

Love this knife though I have not fillet a fish with it yet. I know it will work well in boning out a catfish a or redfish, though I might have to use a second knife to remove the skin on a larger fish
