    Picked this knife up after it was introduced to me by Reed the Fishmonger, and I’m really glad I did. The blade is sharp right out of the box and has just the right amount of flex for clean, smooth cuts. I really like the Sani-Safe handle — it’s comfortable, grippy, and easy to clean, even when things get a little messy. You can tell it’s built for people who use their knives every day. This has quickly become my go-to fillet knife, and I’d definitely order it again.

    Wanted to update my review, After receiving a call from the Dexter Customer service rep. The solution to what I actually needed for the job at hand was decided upon.     Tried to submit. Will not go through Do not like the knife. Sold as a filet knife, but is more of a trim and finish knife. Not designed for tough skin and bone. Needs to be wider and seated . The flex is sufficient, but the soft steel, although easy to sharpen does not hold up to heavy skin and bone

    Sharp, comfy, and tough—that’s this thing. I store it on my belt using the sheath, so it’s always ready on the boat. Feels lightweight but durable, and it’s a real workhorse.
