Captain Scott Cornelius
WHO AM I:
Master Captain Scott Cornelius here! (aka Capt. Corn) Born and raised local to Ormond Beach, FL. Small town family guy with a couple of water loving puppy dogs. Been hooked on the riverbanks since I was a kid. Business minded, driven and not afraid to cast all day. Owner of 2 small active camp store’s Tomoka Outpost (located in Ormond Beach, FL) & Gamble Rogers Outpost (located in Flagler Beach, FL). Our camp stores operate as the largest rental fleets in our area offering kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals. I’ve designed and created a great active line of Performance Fishing Apparel called “Tournament Pirate” along with being president of our 3 boat inshore fishing & pleasure cruise business The Good Life Charters. As the creator and acting president of the Ormond Fishing Club, I put on many small town fishing tournaments each year for locals along with many other great charity functions at our riverfront camp store venues.
Being involved in the community is part of who I am and what I’m about.
What can I say?…I love what I do!
Our pleasure cruise pontoon boat properly named “The Good Life” is our staple of the fleet while the custom built shallow water flats boat we call “Tournament Pirate” is the tournament style fishing machine that helps push me through to the leader border in many local tournaments each year. The newest addition to the fleet, properly named “Little Scooter” is built for birdwatching and sliding around the backwater creeks for a one on one adventure through the shallow inland local waters. Manatee, Dolphin and Alligators can be seen while exploring our local waterways. My goal is to catch you-what you’re after…Whether it be a trophy redfish, flounder, trout, black drum, snook, great blue heron picture of a lifetime or simply a bbq on an island as you melt back into a comfy beach chair.
We want you to have fun!

DEXTER AND WHY:
Why I Choose Dexter knives..
As a kid I remember watching the pro’s at the fillet tables. Fast as can be, quick sharpening of their blades then down and dirty to the cutting board. The guys with the white handles always seemed to be the best. Quickly working their catch. From the flex of the knives, the cleanliness of the cut and the ease of the flow. I knew right then Dexter Knives were what I would use for the rest of my life. It’s simply a great product, comfortable to use and my personal favorite aspect of their fillet knives are the flex. The flex is truly what saves the extra little bit of meat off your catch and puts it on your plate. In life and business, efficiency is key. To me, that’s why I choose the Dexter Brand.
