Captain Justin A. Santillo
My name is Capt. Justin Santillo, Owner and operator of the charter boat Line-Sided Charters out of beautiful west-central and southeast Florida. Born and raised in the northeast, I spent my years growing up with my mother and father on the water in Cape May NJ. It was these years that started my love of the Sea. My Father Ronald Santillo taught me much of what I know, and apply in a lot of my daily trips on the water. The biggest thing I took away from being on the water with my dad was the importance of conservation, and I apply that on all of our charters with our guests. At Line-Sided we strive to not only provide you with an action-packed day of fishing, but equally important, we engage ourselves with our guests explaining the local habitat, and interesting things encountered on our trips such as the diverse plethora of wildlife that Florida has to offer. Birds, Turtles, Dolphins, are encountered offshore on a daily basis. We specialize in Spring Nearshore trips on the west coast of Florida out of beautiful Saint Pete Beach Fl. These trips focus on King Mackerel, Mangrove Snappers, Sharks, and Grouper to name a few. We are also a federally permitted boat out of West Palm Beach Fl. On the east coast, we specialize in Live bait drifting for pelagics such as King Mackerel, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin(Mahi Mahi) and Sailfish. We employ Kitefishing in our spread when the weather cooperates, and this creates an exciting way for our anglers to fish in a nonconventional method. In addition to Live bait drifting we also offer bluewater trips to the Gulf Stream to fish for Large pelagics such as Marlin, Yellowfin tuna, and Large Mahi. Feel free to inquire about trips on the East and West coast of Florida, we have the ability to accommodate most of your fishing desires. Aside from chartering, look for our Tournament Fishing team “Line-Sided Charters Fishing Team” on the Pro Kingfish Tournament Circuit. Meat Mayhem Series in the Open Class, Suncoast Kingfish Classic, and King of the Beach to name a few of the Kingfish Events that we participate in! Please like and subscribe to our social media accounts to see what we are catching, as well as our how-to/ informational posts.
Two words….. The Edge. I have been using Dexter Knives for 20 plus years. When it comes to a fillet knife, I need a knife that feels good in the hand daily and is comfortable for cleaning large fish. The Dexter Lineup of Knives not only gives you a variety of Grips to choose from but a myriad of Blade styles for your needs. Two of my Favorites would be the 8” Flexible Fillet #10213 and the Coated 8” Sport Fishing Knife #24813. When it comes to Catch, Clean, to Table Dexter Outdoors has you covered at the Fillet Table as well as at the house for preparing that plate of fresh fish.
